Innovative Marketing and Revenue Expansion Opportunities
MBI firms were all successful, independent mortgage originators; however, as independent practitioners, they typically lacked time and resources individually to grow their books of business through innovative marketing and cross-selling. As a part of MBI Financial, these firms now have the human and financial capital needed to pursue new initial customer relationships through ABAs and other creative cross-marketing strategies.
One of the ways that we are helping our affiliated firms initiate and expand customer relationships is by forming regional Affiliated Business Association relationships, or ABAs, with home builders. ABAs enable our firms to establish special-purpose mortgage brokerages that will be on-site at the builder's sales offices. Our firms can expect to capture a significant percentage of the mortgage loans that originate from the builder's projects while satisfying RESPA requirements.
